Editorial: Advanced Control Methods in Marine Robotics Applications

چکیده

This article collection aims to provide a set of reports that could be used better understand the state art and trigger wide-range discussion among researchers practitioners active in marine robotics applications control theory engineering. research topic originated from workshop “Hand-Shaking Advanced Control Marine Robotics Applications” held at IROS 2018. However, contributions have been collected through an open call. As result, we diverse which authors deal with current challenges robotics; particular issues solutions related problems for systems interacting environment, advanced uncertain dynamics working within environments, classical prioritized tasks object avoidance, cooperative motion coordination, biomimetic approaches formation control, etc. We did not receive submissions on more research-oriented topics like “embodiment,” “morphological computation,” “orchestration control,” “self-organization behaviors soft robots,” “persistent autonomy,” nor “human–robot interaction”; this is interesting fact by itself.
